Feels is a project based around how designers can create human, emotional connections with their consumers. Within visual communication, it is imperative to create work that our audiences are able to connect with and respond to. The need for designers to take an empathic approach to their design work is needed, and is where many young and new designers can get stuck. This investigation led me to create Feels - a book series that focuses on the core design elements and how we can use them to create these emotional experiences and connections, as well as building empathy within ourselves as designers.
